Her family, led by her mother Malkit Kaur Sidhu and her influential uncle Surjit Singh Badesha, held significant sway in the community. They were deeply rooted in traditional Punjabi values, which dictated the family’s lifestyle and decisions.

Jassi’s family, including three generations, lived in a very big house in Canada that was similar to a castle.
