Politics is “the activities associated with the governance of a country or other area, especially the debate or conflict among individuals or parties having or hoping to achieve power,” according to the Oxford Dictionary!

According to the same dictionary, law is “the system of rules which a particular country or community recognizes as regulating the actions of its members and which it may enforce by the imposition of penalties.”

From its inception, it can be seen that LAW concerns (regulating the actions of its members) belie the well-being of others.

That is the essence of politics — having to do with — conflict among individuals.

Criminal law defines conduct perceived as threatening to, harming to, or otherwise endangering the property, health, safety, and welfare of people.

Not too far off — one from the other — right? In other words, politics and law go hand-in-hand!
