Two wrongs don’t make one right!

Just in case you did not know:

  • The police is entitled to break the law;
  • In order to catch criminals,
  • Who allegedly broke the law

Does that even make sense?

For example, in a sting operation to catch drug dealers, the cops themselves may buy, use and even sell narcotics!

In another sting operation to catch money laundering, they may portray to be bad guys, deal with drugs and even threaten the targets, in order to catch the alleged criminals.

Yes, it is all done in the name of the law. Commit a crime, lie, steal and cheat, just to catch a “bad guy!” The question then becomes, who is the worse of the two evils?

I propose that:

  • we look long and hard
  • at the criminal activities
  • that lead to apprehend potential criminals.

Although there is a defense for entrapment, it should not get to this level!
