1. You are not allowed to give your children names. While in Mexico, you could find Hermione, Batman, or Rolling Stone

Sonora, a state in Mexico’s northwest, finally had enough of parents giving their children unusual names in 2015. Lady Di, Rambo, and Sponsorship are among the 61 names that the police have declared unlawful.

“The purpose of the list is to safeguard children from being tormented because of their name,” stated Cristina Ramirez, head of Sonora’s civil registration, while presenting the bill.

2. Pillow fights are not tolerated in Germany

Pillows are illegally considered a passive weapon in Germany, and it is possible to face assault charges if you strike someone with one.

3. Learn to soothe a parrot

If your parrot makes an excessive amount of noise, you can be subject to a $100 fine in Oak Bay, Canada.

4. A child’s visit to their parents in China is mandatory

The increasing number of lonely seniors in China has prompted the People’s Republic to consider an innovative approach. In 2013, the government just demanded that the parents’ adult children pay them a visit.

“Never neglect or snub elderly people” and caring for one’s parents’ “spiritual needs” are mandated by law. A fine or possibly jail time awaits those who disobey it.
