Kentucky Fried Chicken

February 8, 1983, London: Michael Cattran, a plumber employed at the Dyno-Red, was responding to a complaint of clogged pipes from the residents of Cranley Gardens.

He opened the drain covers, let his hand reach deep inside, and pulled out everything that blocked the pipes.

Soon, his hand hit something which was soft on the outside but hard on the inside. He retrieved this mysterious substance, and it looked like meat.

Mr. Cattran had been at his job for some time but never before had he come across meat in the drain pipe.

Cattran knew this was going to take some time. He put the drain cap back on and decided to return the following day.

On his way out, two of the tenants in the apartment enquired if Cattran had managed to fix the block. And he explained his encounter with the meat-like blockage.

“It looks to me like someone has been flushing down their Kentucky Fried Chicken,” replied a tenant.
