As known ,bad news are spread faster than good news. So in a crisis situation news are spread in a society at great speed.

Our team has taken on the analysis of a crisis, concerning the shortage of medicines in public hospitals of Russia. Our source was the Russian newspaper Pravda Online. The article was posted in the subcategory of Russia and was focused on the above news itself without taking this issue into serious consideration.

More precisely, this shortage was referred to analgesics prescribed to cancer sufferers Complaints were expressed both by doctors and patients as well. On the one hand , patients were rather disappointed with the lack of the suitable pain killers for their malady, while on the other hand doctors were unable to prescribe the appropriate medication. Consequently, they had to prescribe corresponding medicines from different medi-companies which were not so suitable for each separate situation. The statistics results which came out ,when having analyzed this particular crisis, made the situation the country was found ,much clearer. According to the All Russia People’s Front of Russia, 70% of the country’s doctors mentioned that they deal with the medicine shortage at the hospitals they work, while the 21% witnessed the analgesic shortage needed for the treatment of the oncological sufferers. Moreover the 68% of the questioned admitted having been” unable” to write out the prescriptions, due to the fact that the medicines did not exist even in pharmacies. On top of that ,as it was mentioned in one more hospital , the 30% of the doctors working there prescribed specific analgesics, because of the shortage of the most suitable medicines which should be prescribed.

As for the article type , it was a scientific one since it made use of formal vocabulary and contained comments of an All Russia People’s Front scientist. It was also neutral without judging on the crisis and informative aiming at the public awareness, but not at its influence. Lastly it was not signed, but it was based on the research results carried out by the All Russia People’s Front.
