Have you always wanted to fly through the internet like Neo from The Matrix? Do you want to laugh at us peasants who just browse the internet with a mouse & keyboard?

Well, Oculus announced today that they will be releasing a consumer version of their VR headset in Q1 2016. There’s no word on how much it will cost, all we know is that the tracking has been improved, among a few other odds and ends. No hardware specifications have been released yet, but it looks a lot smaller than the last model.

From their blog post, it sounds like they’re moving beyond just being a neat piece of tech for gaming. They want to revolutionize how you watch movies, how you explore the internet, and how you control your life.

Will they succeed? Will you wear a headset to watch a movie?
