Sponsorship and Support Opportunities for “A Critical Cause”
The “A Critical Cause” Charity Marathon Needs Your Help
Want to get your business or brand in front of a passionate online audience and help out a great cause?
On April 22nd, in partnership with The Winnipeg Foundation, A Critical Cause is hosting a 24 hour video gaming marathon to raise awareness and funds for mental health initiatives in Winnipeg.
This marathon will be streamed live online on Twitch, and will include giveaways and donation incentives for interacting viewers. Last year we raised over $4,000 and were covered by CTV, Global, CBC, The Winnipeg Free Press and several online publications.
We need the help of sponsors and donations from people who care about the community, like you!
If you help A Critical Cause support mental health initiatives with donations and sponsorship, we will:
- Announce and show your name or logo at least hourly on stream (for 24 hours straight)
- Talk about the benefits of your prize donation when we give it away as a donation incentive
- Post about your contribution and prize pre and post event on social media and our website, CriticalCause.org
What are we looking for help with?
- Multiples of small items or offers that can be given away as donation incentives to reach certain levels of donation
- Items or offers to be part of giveaway events during the evening (prime time) hours of the stream
- Monetary sponsorships will be considered if directed at a specific giveaway idea (otherwise, a donation to the fund is preferred)
Your contribution to this event will be an essential part of its success, and we look forward to making sure people are told about how amazing it was that you helped us out!

A Critical Cause is a yearly charity event run by, and for, Winnipeggers who have struggled and are struggling with mental illness. We want to make a difference in our city with better programs and resources to make living with mental illness something that doesn’t stop people from achieving their true potential.
