This week, Made in Brunel is holding the 24 Hour Design Challenge from the 10th to 11th of March.

It’s a marathon for students to work on live briefs from a range of companies and organisations in the industry.

Racing against the clock, the young designers are asked to answer a range of briefs within 3 hours.

Producing concepts and perhaps even 3D mock ups of their products and solutions.

The briefs come directly from various companies and industries (including the CRL), with varying briefs from branding and packaging, through to consumer products and medical design tasks.

Its set to be a thrilling 24 hours, full of ideas, inspiration and fun.

But most importantly, students’ are exposed to live briefs and help with finding solutions which could change the lives of many. We’re excited about this as know it helps to cultivate the startup mindset.

Stay tuned for updates from Made in Brunel during the event via their Facebook page and the #24HourDesignChallenge

Hopefully we’ll be able to share some of the outcomes from the challenge we set in the coming weeks and perhaps even bring them to life………!
