Crochet Affirmation №11
It is the loose ends with with which crocheters hang themselves. — after Zelda Fitzgerald
Crochet, once you have the hang of it, allows the crafter to experience a literal “burst” of creativity with sweaters and blankets and potholders seeming to roll off your crochet hook.
But if, like me, you change colors at any opportunity, you will be left with ends or “tails” of yarn which must be woven in.
Some crocheters will go to extreme lengths to avoid this part of the process, but it is much easier to surrender to the truth, get out your bent-tipped yarn needle, weave in those ends, and then look back with the great satisfaction at having accomplished something you didn’t think was possible.
