I long to accomplish a great and noble task, but it is my chief duty to accomplish small tasks as if they were great and noble. — Helen Keller
So much of life is composed of the ordinary — running and errand, walking a dog, wiping down a counter — but these small tasks build on one another and create the tapestry of an entire life.
So it is with crochet. You start with one stitch and build from there — mostly moving forward, and sometimes having to move back. Eventually, the stitches accumulate, you join the pieces together, and then you have another tapestry — one composed of many small bits put together — to add to your life.
