After a full year of beta testing with major publications around the world, we are finally happy to announce the public release of Croma, the content distribution analytics platform for news organizations.

Croma looks at everything you publish on your publication’s website and works directly with social networks’ APIs to measure engagement data on each and every one of your stories. We track the organic social distribution to help you easily see which stories are generating engagements and ultimately driving readers to your site.

Croma allows Social Media teams to see how their publication’s content is performing even when they haven’t shared it in their official social profiles and that’s a reason why it quickly becomes a time-saving tool, embedded in their daily workflow.

The social media team at The Huffington Post use Croma to surface the stories they should be focusing on. Editors can easily spot trending stories from their publications and identifying which stories to share and reshare in specific verticals during the day. This opens up a completely new way of looking at social engagements, one which allows to extend the life cycle of a story and drive traffic from across different social verticals.

But social media teams are not the only ones leveraging Croma. Journalists, Editors and Editors-in-Chief use Croma daily to make informed decisions.

“Here at La Nación nearly 40 of our editors uses Croma on a daily basis” — says Carlos Guyot, Editor in Chief at La Nación in Argentina. “It’s like a deep dive that helps us to understand the performance of our content within the social networks.”

To better understand their competitive landscape, Croma allows publishers to benchmark their publication against relevant competitors and display this information across the newsroom to better understand their competitive landscape.

“In such a fragmented audience scenario” — says Guyot, “these understanding helps us to make smarter editorial decisions.”

Croma gives you a comprehensive view of the performance of your stories and those of your competitors across the social web. These end to end insights will give you the ability to guide and grow the value of your social distribution efforts and determinate the impact of social audiences on business results.
