It’s just as I suspected.

Deus Ex Go, the excellent turn-based puzzle mobile game, is still playable despite being shut down on January 4th, 2023.

If you’ve been living under a rock–it’s ok; you have a life–Deus Ex, along with the Tomb Raider and The Lord of the Rings franchises, was acquired by Embracer Group, the Swedish mega-company.

The video game industry was struck hard at the beginning of November (2022) when Embracer announced that it was not only closing the newly rebranded developer studio, Onoma (formerly known as Square Enix Montreal), but also shutting down a number of its games as well.

The mobile games revealed to be permanently shut down were Arena Battle Champions, Dues Ex Go, Hitman Sniper: The Shadows, and Space Invaders: Hidden Heroes.

Onoma said that these games would be delisted from Apple’s and Google’s app stores on December 1st and that you wouldn’t be able to access them past January 4th, which remains to be true as none of the games can be found in either marketplace.
