Galry | 6.17
Galry is branching out this month — for the first time, we are partnering with a community center to encourage young and everyday artists. The Casey Community Center in Gaithersburg, MD, hosts a wide variety of private and public events, so people from all walks of life walk through its doors.
When we visited the community center to bring the Galry materials, the two front desk attendants were excited to hear about Galry’s mission to uplift artists. One of them expressed interest in posting his own art to the Galry website. They both encouraged us and told us they appreciate the work we (that’s you, too!) are doing through Cross Create.
The community center is open from 9am-10pm. With the amount of people who visit the community center — whether to attend a wedding or take a class or show their art publicly— we look forward to watching the Galry community grow as a result.
