Mint Passes & Special cards
With the General Availability, it’s time to clarify how Season 2 will begin and how your Mint Passes will be beneficial prior to the first Presale! We’ll go over everything you need to know to be ready for the following phases!
There are six different types of Mint Passes, each with proportional benefits according to their rarity and the value of the pack they were in. You can find a lot of information about them on our website.
Moving forward into the next phase, each pass will get you access to weekly Mantris Card Shard airdrops.
This phase will start on April 19 at the same time as the SR AIRDROP!
For 6 months as a base starting mid-April (so 26 weeks) the airdrop should result in this:
Red Mint Passes — 2 Shards per week — Total would be 52
Green Mint Passes — 5 Shards per week -> Total would be 130
Blue Mint Passes — 10 Shards per week -> Total would be 260
Legacy Mint Passes — 17 Shards per week -> Total would be 442
Gold Mint Passes — 17 Foil Shards per week -> Total would be 442 F
Gold Legacy Mint Passes — 17 Foil Shards per week + 2 Alternative S Foil Card Shards per week -> Total would be 442 Foil + 52 Alternative S Foil
You can accumulate more Shards by holding multiple Mint Passes.
You will be able to exchange those Shards for a Special Color Card (Rarity: Special Rare) of your choosing (If you have enough to buy them).
The number or Shards required to redeem a card of a specific color is equal to the total number of Shards obtained by holding a mint pass of that color between the General Release and the Start of Presale S2.
Shards that have not been used will not be valid for the Special Cards of the following season.
For 6 month as a base (so 26 weeks) the Card Shards Required should be:
Red Special Card -> 52 Card Shards
Green Special Card -> 130 Card Shards
Blue Special Card -> 260 Card Shards
ALTERNATIVE S FOIL Special Card -> 52 Alternative S Foil Card Shards
(The price of each Special Card is determined by its connection to the mint pass of the same color.)
For example:
Green Mint Passes are eligible for 5 Card Shards per week.
There are 26 weeks between the General Release and the Start of Presale S2 Packs if there are 6 months between the General Release and the Start of Presale S2 Packs. 5 Card Shards multiplied by 26 weeks equals 130 Shards.
So the Green Special Card can be obtained by exchanging 130 Card Shards.
You can also use your Card Shards to obtain other cards.
With your Green Mint Pass and the Card Shards accumulated, you can either get two Red Special Cards or buy additional 130 Shards on the marketplaces to get the Blue Special Card.
Card Shards are NFTs, therefore they can be traded on the Marketplaces.
Foil Shards are given to those who own a Golden Mint Pass or Golden Legacy Mint Pass in order to acquire the Foil versions of the Special Cards. You can also get Card Shards for the rare Alternate S Foil Special Cards with a Golden Legacy Mint Pass.
Be careful at the end of the pre-sale, the Mantris Shards will not be usable anymore.
Card Shards are directly airdrop in NFT on the address where you hold your MINT PASS
Special Cards & Mantris PreSale Ticket
During the Presale phase and just before the start of the mint session, each Mint Pass will be airdrop a Whitelist Mint Pass called “Mantris PreSale Ticket”, corresponding to his Mint Pass. The airdrop will be made on the wallet that holds the Mint Pass.
For example, a Blue Mint Pass will be eligible for a Blue Pack Season 2. Same thing applies if you have 17 Mint Passes on your IMX Adress; you will airdrop in NFT 17 Mantris PreSale Ticket based on the colors of your Passes.
The wallet that contains the Mint Pass will be the destination of the airdrop.
Such Passes are freely tradable, but if you do so, you will no longer be able to buy the pack.
You can only buy a Presale Pack with the Mantris PreSale Ticket . Keep in mind that some Mantris PreSale Ticket will be given by CTA during special events such as tournaments.
Information will become available at a later time regarding the duration of the mint.
