As we navigate shelter-in-place mandates and extended periods of physical distancing, we’ve created a space for tech leaders to share insights online.

Crosscut Conversations began as a dinner series that brought together leaders in product, marketing, finance and other roles for facilitated discussions about the day-to-day challenges of their jobs. From Todd Jackson to Jerry Colonna, our co-hosts always brought unique perspectives around the table. Our goal was to make create spaces where people left with actionable insights and meaningful connections.

We’re now limited to virtual Crosscut Conversations, but our goals remain the same: to foster thoughtful dialogue from some of tech’s most inspiring leaders and deliver actionable insights to our guests.

We’ll be streaming live from Santa Monica, California on Tuesdays at 2 pm PT, so mark your calendars and come prepared to learn and engage!

The Evolution of Social Media

Tuesday, June 2 at 2pm PT — register through Zoom here.

The ubiquity of social media has made it possible for us to connect with friends, family, and colleagues even as shelter-in-place mandates keep the majority of us at home. In this edition of Crosscut Conversations, we’ll be exploring how social media has transformed over the past two decades and conjecturing about what the next paradigm may look like. To examine these topics, we’re bringing together the creators of Myspace, Friendster, Squad, and Tinder — social media pioneers that have built new modes of communication and social interaction.
