AMA Recap — CrossFi x Metatalkz

It is a great pleasure to receive a warm invitation from the Metatalkz community, and I would also like to thank the community for their support of the CrossFi project. We had a huge community AMA event on February 20th at 12pm UTC. Here are some details and recaps of the event:

Q1: Before we proceed, please introduce yourself to our community.

I am Jazz, the marketing manager of CrossFi. I have been in the crypto space since 2017, first as a crypto trader before I started contributing to various projects across different niches.

I have provided community and marketing services to successful projects like Bluzelle, Torah Network, OpenOcean Finance, Animal Concerts, Bridge Network, BitsCrunch, Polkabridge, etc.

I am a Web3 native and DeFi enthusiast and I believe in the relevance of blockchain technology to bettering the existing financial system.

Q2: Could you describe CrossFi and give us an introduction to the project?

CrossFi is a decentralized Finance (DeFi) project specializing in multi-chain & cross-chain loans and synthetic assets. It offers interoperability between various blockchains and aims to connect the isolated liquidity of existing public chains.

CrossFi is a cross-chain liquidity-sharing protocol. Liquidity is needed by various network assets to solve the main problem of DeFi platforms.

The CrossFi team is mainly divided into two core tasks, the team focusing on developing the basic cross-chain DeFi agreement, and the docking of third-party network assets.

Q3: Tell us, What are the main features that distinguish you from other projects and what competitive advantages do you have?

The CrossFi team comprises experts from across the globe — from Europe to America to Asia and Africa. The vast experience and skill of the team members have enabled the accelerated and quality growth of CrossFi within a short period.

We have recorded amazing strides in terms of building products and scaling our visibility

Q4: So, How has the experience and background of your team been effective in the success of your project so far?

We have our CEO, Paul Odermatt who has been in the crypto space since 2012 and built several start-ups, and our highly skilled tech and marketing teams working to bring success.

We have gotten grants and partnerships with the Aurora network and top projects within the ecosystem.

Q5: Are you working on any partnerships or marketing initiatives to help build awareness for your platform?

This is a beautiful question.

There are several partnerships in the pipeline to greatly boost the awareness of CrossFi. We are working with some tier-1 projects to execute marketing and community campaigns and to provide fundamental quality products for crypto and DeFi users within the ecosystem.

We want to solve :

• The immaturity of cross-chain technology.

• Insufficient liquidity of assets.

• The problem of incomplete supporting infrastructure.

• The problem of limited investment opportunities: we are building one platform for DeFi investments (staking, liquidity providing, lending, synthetic products, etc.) for different blockchains and projects, like a one-stop shop.

Q6: Nicely answered every question from the introduction segment. Now let’s move to our next segment “Twitter Segment” Here comes our first question :

Beautiful question. The token can only gain value with the help of the community along with a service that is useful and in demand in the blockchain space.

Our vision is to create an ecosystem by offering cross-chain solutions — this is still not well solved today, but will change in the future. We will be at the forefront of this solution.

In addition, NFTs, DEX, etc. are important elements of the ecosystem. The DeFi market is at its novel phase, and we are in a very good starting position here!

Q7: Here is our next question. Can you give me a list of 1–3 of the deadly features of $Crossfi that make it stand out from its competitors? CrossFi has DApp (https://dapp.crossfimain.com) with staking and flash loans (Borrow) features. Users can easily support liquidity to the CrossFi ecosystem and generate profits by staking their synthesized Filecoin (cFIL) or CrossFi token (CRFI).

CrossFi provides the following products:

• DApp with DeFi features; Flash Loan and liquidity pool (Staking) for Filecoin and CrossFi.

• The world’s best APY rate by staking Filecoin over a long period!

• Cross-chain liquidity protocol for Filecoin and other public chains.

Multi-Asset Adapter Protocol (MAP) technology is another key component of CrossFi, an infrastructure for cross-chain asset lending and liquidity-sharing networks, allowing users to connect assets on incompatible public chains by utilizing MAP.

This technology also allows NFTs to be collateralized and allows NFT owners to borrow on NFT assets or sell shares in NFT assets to provide partial ownership of these NFTs.

And lastly, CSO events (CrossFi Swap Opportunity) — a swap & burn event, which are very popular in our community, the community can buy cheap, and also CRFI tokens are burned.

Q8: It’s easy to make a token but it’s really hard to make this token valuable. So what’s your strategy to make your token more valuable and what’s your plan to maintain token price and supply?https://twitter.com/mawakhan588/status/1627523807551586304?t=9qWTJSxv_o12M04gGcJBfw&s=19

This is a concern for most DeFi users but CrossFi solves this easily. Our deflationary mechanism is top-notch. Yes! We do burn tokens. As I have stated above, we have a CSO event (CrossFi Swap Opportunity) — a swap & burn event, in which the community can buy cheap, and also $CRFI tokens are burned.

This event which takes place every three months is an additional recipe for success and the community loves it! 🤗

Q9: What makes @globalcrossfi unique amongst its contemporaries? What is the security status as regards auditing? What measures will the team take to expand its user base keeping in view Diversity?

Jazz: NFTs, DEX, etc. are important elements for the ecosystem.

We have a Multi-Asset Adapter Protocol (MAP) technology which is a key component of CrossFi, an infrastructure for cross-chain asset lending and liquidity sharing networks, allowing users to connect assets on incompatible public chains by utilizing MAP. This technology also allows NFTs to be collateralized and allows NFT owners to borrow on NFT assets or sell shares in NFT assets to provide partial ownership of these NFTs.

Since CrossFi’s MAP technology was initially developed to provide liquidity to accumulated assets, it is in perfect condition and position to do the same for NFTs. Each fixed asset contract has a start and expiration date for the original fixed asset, so it must be an NFT so CrossFi can take advantage of the NFT boom

Crypto Queen🏆: Many projects have problems with UI / UX and this one turns off new users. How do you plan to improve the interaction with new users and with users outside the crypto space? Do you guys feel satisfied by seeing your progress and achievements till now, when you look back to the day when you started this project?

Jazz: This is a challenge to most projects but we have worked on and we keep working on our UIUX features to provide the best user experience to our community and users of our platforms.

Janet Effertz: Is your Project A COMMUNITY only for English speaking in a few countries or for users not of other languages??

Jazz: We have several communities which include Vietnamese, Spanish, Indonesian, etc.

We are still building more communities and looking forward to working with more leaders in these various niches.
