5 Newsletters for Fintech Innovators
Every day we are quite literally inundated with spam, advertising, and all kinds of communication from friends, colleagues and people trying to sell us something through every possible set of channels. So why might you want to subscribe one additional email every day, week or month?
Every week there is a self-proclaimed “expert” stating that the newsletter is dead, but the fact is that newsletters are still one of the most effective marketing tools, when you look at conversions and visits to your site, and one of the best ways to stay up to date and informed about a particular topic or industry as they filter through the noise and hype.
Listed below are five newsletters every fintech innovator, or everyone with an interest in this industry, should subscribe to:
1. CB Insights Newsletter
Probably the best newsletter to track emerging industries, venture capital and disruptive startups. Analysis of the fintech industry, usually with amazing charts and infographics, are frequent and well done. This is a curation of the best news and trends in the tech world, with a particular focus on financial technology. Started in September 2014 it already counts 50.000+ professionals worldwide. Delivered to you every Friday by the company director of communications Rebecca Menat.
3. Mattermark Daily
Nicely curated newsletter compiled daily that brings to you the best perspectives, insights, and lessons learned from investors, founders, and other operators in the startup ecosystem. Getting a newsletter in your inbox every single day it’s a lot, but this one is worth it. Delivered to you every evening by Sonia Bhasin and the Mattermark team.
4. Fintech Weekly
Good collection of the latest articles on developments, solutions and innovations in fintech industry, with dates for conferences, hackathons and deadlines. Delivered to you every week by the Railslove team from Cologne, Germany.
5. Crowd Valley Newsletter
Last but not least, this is the newsletter we send out at Crowd Valley every two weeks.
