Product Update — Historical Data for Crowdfire Mentions!
The engineering folks at Crowdfire are on a roll and don’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon. So without any further ado, let’s get to what’s new on Crowdfire today 💫
What is Historical Data for Mentions?
Well, it’s exactly what it sounds like.
Crowdfire Mentions will now keep a log of every single one of your social conversations with your audience in the past so that you never lose track of them, ever again.
This will especially be helpful if your support team uses Crowdfire Mentions for providing social media support to your users. With the help of the previous logs, your support agents can now figure out if you’ve previously conversed with a particular user on your social media.
This will help you -
- figure out whether or not you were mentioned by a particular user before their latest conversation
- get context about the content of your previous conversations
- avoid confusion among support agents regarding any of the user complaints
Where can you find the historical data of your past conversations?
It’s simple. Whenever you tap on any of your recent mentions, you’ll see a small icon to the right of the page which will show you a list of all of your past conversations with that particular user 👇
To quote Sam, our social media manager,
Everybody has a history
And now, your support agents will have a record of that history, right on your Crowdfire dashboard!

Platforms supported
At the moment, Crowdfire Mentions supports Twitter and Facebook pages and Facebook DMs.
This feature is currently, also, only available on the Web App
Where can I access Mentions?
You can access Mentions from your Crowdfire dashboard. You will find it in the top bar next to the Home Button.
Pricing Plans
Crowdfire Mentions is available for Premium and VIP users only. But if you’re not on these paid plans, then fret not. You can get started on the 14-day free trial right away to test it out yourself! 🙌
