4 Seriously Good New Year Reads

Motivate, Sell, Write & Talk

Find some extra motivation to grow your small business in the 2017. Our Account Managers have suggested 4 great inspiring & motivational books you should definitely read over the festive period.

  1. Confessions of an Advertising Man, David Ogilvy

Where did the perfect sales pitch come from? There’s a slight bias here as this is one of our favourite, motivational & business related books. David Ogilvy’s biography provides great advice & his nostalgia presents great ideas for writing that perfect sales copy. Whether that’s emails, telephone scripts or advertisement copy. Ogilvy was dubbed the “Father of Advertising” for a reason, there’s nothing he couldn’t sell.

2. The Richest Man in Town, Randal Jones

The founder of Worth magazine presents his 12 Commandments of wealth. Put motivation & faith into your festive period. Pick up some new habits to generate a successful business model in the New Year.

3. The Strategy Paradox, Micheal Raynor

This motivational book explains less conservative approaches to business management. Sometimes the most profitable approach is the riskiest one. Take steps to break the mould & stand out from the crowd in 2017.

4. Start with Why, Simon Sinek

Simply start asking why. Start with Why, analyses the past and present leaders in business and politics, and further explains the “theory of invention”. Where did their ideas come from? We’d recommend Simon Sinek’s book Start with Why. Find some a new direction for yourself & your business.
