To the employees of the City of Charlotte,

On Tuesday, temperatures climbed into the 50s and slowly dropped Wednesday morning. By Wednesday afternoon, snow was falling in every part of Charlotte, creating a winter wonderland. While the snow covered landscapes made a nice picture, it presented a challenge to the city with snowy roads and sidewalks. The freezing temperatures lingered through this morning, adding some icy areas to the mix. You stepped up to the challenge to serve the residents of Charlotte. While numerous businesses and schools closed, many of you worked around the clock to keep our roads safe, our water running, our mass transit moving and so many other services operating over the past few days.

Your daily contributions to the city do not go unnoticed. From all of us at CROWN Weekly, thank you for your hard work and dedication!
