The Cross Charlotte Trail is a 26-mile trail and greenway facility that will stretch from the City of Pineville, through Center City and on to the UNC Charlotte campus and the Cabarrus County line.

XCLT awarded for excellence

Last night, the Centralina Council of Governments (CCOG) awarded the Cross Charlotte Trail (XCLT) the Region of Excellence Award for its effort to improve quality of life in the region.

The XCLT is a collaborative effort between the City of Charlotte and Mecklenburg County to construct a 26-mile trail stretching from Pineville to the Cabarrus County line.
