Superblock 2635200 has been paid
Crown decentralised governance program in action
The latest superblock paid out a few hours ago. There were nine proposals in the final budget of which seven passed and six were paid. Seven of the proposals are shown in this screenshot (from the Crown Masternode Tool which walkjivefly is working on).
There was a last-minute rush to get proposals into the superblock which ended up being oversubscribed; 61350 CRW requested versus 54000 available. The actual amount paid out was 42850 CRW.
One important proposal (artemdevnovember) didn’t get paid even though it passed. It had the lowest passing absolute yes count and there weren’t enough funds left by the time higher scoring proposals had been paid. Probably this was due to it being the final proposal submitted (only one day before the voting deadline).
Possibly because of the confusion over how many funds were requested and what the community’s priorities should be, the designservicesnov19 proposal did not pass. We’ll have to hope that Artem and Dave continue their work without being funded this month.
The crown-registration proposal started out quite well but sentiment turned against it. One explanation could be because it was asking for 12 months payments which is an unreasonable level of commitment from the community when the future is so unknown.
It really does pay to get proposals in as early in the superblock cycle as possible to give people time to consider and vote at leisure. With this in mind, please would all contributors make their submissions for the next superblock (block height 2678400, expected around 22 December 2019, voting deadline around 20 December) sooner rather than later. This is especially important given how close to Christmas it will occur.
