7 Things We Took For Granted That Our Grandchildren Will Find Bewildering

Our second grandson was born in October this year and at 64, I still find it astonishing how quickly and how much times have changed and how fast technology has moved.
I can’t imagine what sort of innovations the two of them will experience in their lifetimes.
I look back at my childhood and some of the things we accepted as the norm back then that these two will find bizarre.
How would we explain some of these things that we took for granted;
Dial telephones
To make a phone call we had to memorise the number we needed to call or at least have it written down somewhere.
Calling someone meant lifting a cumbersome handset, inserting our index finger into a circular dial and painstakingly dialing each digit.
Mobile phones put paid to all that and now we carry around more information than we could ever need on a device that fits into our pocket.
