Prompt #30: Decisions, decisions
One benefit of aging is that hindsight is 20/20. We can see how our decisions turned out, which ones were worth the stress, and which ones might have deserved a bit more consideration. After decades of being faced with decisions ranging from inconsequential all the way up to life-changing, we’ve learned which consequences we’ll accept and which are to be avoided. With that in mind:
What was the best or worst decision you’ve made? Did you agonize over a decision that turned out to have little or no consequences? Did you make a rash decision with tremendous consequences? Do you avoid making decisions for as long as possible, or face them quickly? Has your decision-making process changed over the years? If so, how?
Let us know about your experiences with making decisions and how they’ve impacted your life.
