What do I know about computers, chargers, tech in general? I’ve accumulated only enough knowledge in my 82 years to realize when things are not working.
I try to pound out a story a day for Medium. Not because readers give a damn but because I give a damn.
I love to see the Medium stats change when a post I’ve done is trending up.
Today I discovered the lifeless screen on my Mac and realized I’d left my charger across the Delaware river in Jersey when visiting GF Gerry. If I wanted to write a story I needed to recharge my trusty MacBook.
I went to CVS to pick up a cheapy. charger.
Nothing there and nobody knew nothing.
“Go to Target!” one of the CVS clerks advised.
It was only about a mile down the road from the CVS.
Target was a madhouse. I made my way to Target Tech on the lower floor of the two-story monster of a building.
Many customers were seeking tech advice; few staff dispensing it.
