They just don’t live in my house

When I was a child we had seven cats, a birdcage with budgies, and two fish tanks; one salt water and one fresh water. Our house was small, only about 900 square feet with an unfinished basement. I was constantly stepping around cats and hearing sounds of birds scraping and fish tanks burbling.

It was less than a year after moving out that I got my first cat. He was an old alley cat…
