I Want to Live in a 1940s Detective Movie

I watch classic noir movies on Kanopy, a video streaming service offered by my local library. Watching movies on Kanopy has convinced me I was born in the wrong genre.

I came of age at the time of The Graduate and Woodstock. I should have been born into the days of The Maltese Falcon and This Gun for Hire.
