I’ve read several pieces of late regarding how we literally fade as we age. For awhile that had also been my experience, especially in the workplace. But some where along the line — something shifted.

Perhaps my attitude — all the fucks I finally don’t give — was responsible. Perhaps it’s because I live in The South and as An Old White Woman I am damn near revered? Perhaps it’s the purple hair or…
