Online Scammers Target the Elderly and How I Almost Fell For One

Cognitive skills decline as we age, making senior citizens ideal candidates for online scams and identity theft

I am not a technology novice, but far from an expert either. Following an identity theft in 2019, I am more than aware of scammers. Yet, I almost fell for a social media con recently. Here’s how it went down:
