Outgrowing Versus Aging

So much of what we lament as aging is really just a matter of having outgrown activities we used to enjoy

I used to enjoy playing with Barbies. I still have my childhood Barbies. I play with them now with my granddaughter. While we play together, I enjoy playing with my Barbies but only through her delight. I outgrew playing with Barbies decades ago.
