I’ve always prided myself on my memory, and my ability to recall (often useless or trivial) information, which enabled me to get through school, except for math class, with surprisingly little effort. As a boy, I loved social studies and geography, rattling off the 50 state capitals and most of their European counterparts. Having a head for trivia and an excellent mind for details served me well…
