Seniors Will Have the Chance to Help Preserve Medicare on June 14th
A ‘Statutory PAYGO Act’ could kneecap Medicare if we don’t do something
You may already know that June 14 will be Donald Trump’s 79th birthday. Trump will celebrate his 79th with a $92 million military parade with foot soldiers, paratroopers, security personnel, military vehicles, helicopters, planes, and country music acts.
Almost seven thousand soldiers will celebrate Trump’s birthday by marching in summer heat in Trump’s military parade. Taxpayers will foot the bill.
Who does Trump think he is? A king? He’s certainly acting like one. Not only the parade, but he also has a “Big Beautiful Bill” in the works. The bill, if passed, will authorize massive cuts to healthcare and food assistance for his low-income peasants and serfs but will raise their taxes. Merchants will have their taxes lowered to some extent, and the nobles and clergy to a greater extent. But the king and his favorites will get tax breaks each year that are bigger than any serf or merchant could imagine ever making in a year.
The Big Beautiful Bill was passed by Republicans in the House in May and is now in the Senate, which is also majority Republican. I’ll bet you knew that — you know what’s what.
