Many center their own pleasure and feel entitled to it
Former supermodel Linda Evangelista, 59, who was married once, shared with the UK’s Sunday Times that she isn’t interested in dating.
“I don’t want to sleep with anybody anymore. I don’t want to hear somebody breathing.”
Actor Sharon Stone, 66, who was married twice, also isn’t dating. As she told Drew Barrymore:
“I’m done dating. I’ve had it with dating because I just find people to be insincere and not worth my time. I enjoy my alone time and my time with my kids and my friends more. I don’t need another kid. “
Sixty-nine-year-old Whoopi Goldberg, who was married three times, isn’t dating either, although she admits to her The View co-hosts that she’s fine with casual sex:
“Listen, a good hit-and-run is a good hit-and-run. Ninety per cent of the time, I’m not there for conversation.”
I’ve been dating on and off in the 20 years I’ve been divorced, with a few long-term relationships, many more relationships of about a year or under, and a few “hit-and-runs.”
