“Shower Power”: How to Practice Your Way to an Inspired Retirement
You practiced math problems, driving cars, and speaking in public. Now it’s time to practice retirement.
My day begins with a long, hot shower. Its soapy bubbles and cascading streams soothe me as I contemplate retirement. When I emerge and towel off, I’m a new man with the confidence to conquer the day and command my future.
This sounds like Superman in a phone booth, but it’s not. I’m an old, retired guy who can’t leap anything in a single bound.
But if you are willing to take a small leap of faith, I will show you how to demystify your retirement worries and accept the indignities of aging with grace.
It begins in the shower and takes only a minute or two.
“Shower Power” is a simple technique that uses visualization to turn anxiety and uncertainty into insight, confidence, and enthusiasm. It is not about dreams, fantasies, or fairy tales, it is a skill built on proven science. But like any skill, it takes discipline and practice.
Don’t just daydream about retirement.
Join me in the shower (figuratively) and we’ll practice being retired.
