When I was about to turn fifty I was freaked out. Fifty! Impossible! There wasn’t anything different about me. I started working at FedEx Express that year and was doing just fine lifting boxes, jumping in and out of trucks, and learning new skills.

Aging had nothing to do with how I felt other than shocked and surprised that I was that old.
