Where do I get the news?

My sister

She is not just a sister but a walking, talking New York Times newspaper dedicated to keeping me informed of all the latest happenings, From the presidential race to who among our acquaintances has passed away. Her updates provide a profound sense of security and comfort, knowing I am always in the loop and never alone in this fast-paced world.

Even if she is on vacation in another country, I eagerly wait to hear from her. During this time, I indulge in pleasant activities like reading and writing on Medium, which I might not have time for if I constantly checked the news.

Knowing that I can focus on other things without missing out on essential updates about happenings around the world brings a profound sense of relief and peace of mind, allowing me to fully enjoy my time.

I would miss many a funeral if my sister didn’t call to tell me who has died that we know. I can’t imagine how many hurt feelings there would be if I had not sent sympathy cards.

I owe that to my sister

I write about my experiences in life. Some mundane, some sad, some funny, and hopefully none boring!
