DRUGS ARE BAD?

The Drugs Are Starting to Kick In

A Sonnet

On this holiday I sit and ponder
How best to alter this old brain today
Shall I fly thru the wild, sky-blue yonder
Despite my law-abiding feet of clay?
Like Hunter S. I’m ready for all guests —
Expired oxys, fresh Kombucha, plus
I’ve got magic mushrooms, homegrown, and blessed
By the forest goddess. Let’s all of us
Share wisdom with the kids…
