Crow’s Feet: Life As We Age

You call us the Elderly. How wrong can you be?

We were born in the 40s, 50s or 60s.

We grew up in the 50s, 60s and 70s.

We studied in the 60s, 70s and 80s.

We were dating in the 70s, 80s and 90s. Some of us are dating even now.

We got married and discovered the world in the 70s, 80s and 90s.

We were wild and unruly in the 80s, but gradually stabilized in the 90s and 2000s.

We became wiser in the 2010s and settled down to a life of contentment. We sorted out our finances and prepared for retirement.

We managed to get through the Covid-19 pandemic in the 2020s, despite the loss of many of our friends and relatives.

And we are going firmly through and beyond 2024.

Turns out, we’ve lived through as many as EIGHT decades.

Two different centuries. Two different millennia.
