What I’ve Been Looking For

A dream at last fulfilled

In the sunset of my seventh decade (also known as 67 years old), it recently came to me that I may have found what I’ve been looking for most of my life. That recognition arrived with a memory of a day when I felt powerful, a vision of how I could live my life on my own terms in sight. It was sunny, and I was happy. The feelings were so real when I felt them again the other day, I cried.
