I kept hearing about ChatGPT but didn’t know what it was.

I was intrigued because I read crazy things like it would put Google out of business or replace all writers with its ability to generate articles in seconds.

Schools are concerned because ChatGPT can ease students’ burdens by writing essays while bypassing plagiarization software.

What was this new thing that’s got everybody talking? I decided to check it out for myself. You will see real conversations I’ve had with ChatGPT below.

In the spirit of full transparency, I’m no technology guru, but I am curious to learn new things. I am prone to hitting buttons and plowing forward blindly instead of reading instructions. That’s how I learned ChatGPT.

You’ve been warned.

The hardest part of using ChatGPT was setting up my account.

The system kicked me off several times before I had established an account. It informed me that there were too many users on the system and to try again later. Once you have an account, you won’t get booted off.
