Crypto is Easy With Crumbs

In this blog post we want to briefly go over some of the different ways you can currently purchase cryptocurrencies on the Crumbs app.

Roundups 💳:

After running a product survey we realized that 75% of our users think of roundups as their favorite way to purchase cryptocurrency on Crumbs. This is no surprise to us since roundups turn the complex and intimidating process of purchasing cryptocurrency into a effortless and passive one. Note: We are working on improving the approval times of roundups and building out more functionality around roundups.

How do roundups work?

1. You link a debit or credit card. After each transaction with a linked card the difference between the purchase amount and nearest dollar will be set aside in crypto(s).
2. You select your Bundle — you can choose from a pre-made one or create your own.
3. That’s it.

Recurring Buys 🔁

This method has always been a favorite among users since it allows you to dollar cost average (ex: purchase a fixed amount on consistent schedule) your way into the cryptocurrency markets.

It’s very simple, all you have to do is:

1. You select the amount (up to $100.00)
2. Select the schedule, monthly, weekly, or both.
3. That’s it 👏

One time buys 1️⃣

This is our newest feature and probably least known. This method allows you to use Crumbs to make a la carte purchases of over 10 cryptocurrencies. We are actively working on methods of lowering fees, improving order efficiency, adding support for more assets, and enabling crypto deposits and withdraws.

This process is very straightforward:

1. Deposit Cash into your Cash Wallet
2. Use that balance to immediately trade 10+ cryptocurrencies

In addition to the three different methods of purchasing cryptocurrency on Crumbs, we will also be introducing “Baskets” which will allow you to make one time buys of multiple cryptocurrencies organized into categories like: Crumbs15 (market cap weighted bundle of all supported coins), Tokens, Blockchains, Privacy, and more.
