When we launched VRV nearly two years ago, we sought out to bring fans a unique collection of content spanning across animation, anime, sci-fi, and more. We’ve come a long way, and we’re so thankful to our many fans that keep us honest and entertained on a daily basis.

As part of Otter Media, a WarnerMedia company, we are fortunate to be able to actively engage with many brands across the WarnerMedia portfolio and align on shared goals. Today, we’re excited to welcome a TBS favorite, “Final Space” to the VRV family.

Meet our Newest Family Member:

“Final Space” is an interstellar comedy created by independent filmmaker, actor, comedian and entrepreneur Olan Rogers. The series was produced by Conan O’Brien’s Conaco and New Form, in association with Turner’s Studio T. Rogers and creative partner David Sacks wrote the episodes, and executive-produced them along with O’Brien, David Kissinger, Larry Sullivan and Jeff Ross of Conaco and Kathleen Grace, Melissa Schneider and Matt Hoklotubbe of New Form. This fun series is a serialized intergalactic space saga about an astronaut named Gary and his adorable, planet-destroying friend, Mooncake. The series will follow their adventures as they embark on a quest to unlock the mystery of “Final Space,” the place where the entire universe ends.

“With ‘Final Space,’ we created a show that pairs genuine emotion and real stakes with comedy and premium animation, making it a perfect fit for VRV,” said Olan Rogers, creator and executive producer of “Final Space.” “We hope VRV’s community loves the series and catches up on all the action before season 2 premieres next year.”

The first four episodes are available now on our house channel, VRV Select, and we’ll be releasing new episodes weekly.

“Collaboration like this creates big wins for consumers,” said Tony Goncalves, CEO of Otter Media. “We believe there is a consumer need for aggregation, and working with our sister companies within WarnerMedia allows us to offer even more great content that our fans can watch and experience together.”

This latest piece of news comes off the heels of a few other recent announcements within the WarnerMedia family:

Last week we announced that Cartoon Network’s Boomerang will be launching a new channel on VRV. This exciting new channel will be available on Tuesday, November 13 and will feature a robust library of timeless cartoons from the Hanna Barbera, Looney Tunes and MGM libraries including Scooby Doo, Tom & Jerry, Bugs Bunny, The Jetsons, The Flintstones and more, all alongside new originals including Dorothy and The Wizard of Oz, Wacky Races, Bunnicula, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs and others. Additionally, Boomerang recently announced Monchhichi and Care Bears will be coming to the service in 2019. Boomerang will available to VRV subscribers in time for the newly digitally remastered Garfield and Friends animated series and the Thanksgiving Boom Movie Feast featuring Garfield, Jonny Quest, Yogi Bear and The Flintstones.

We also announced two additional shows that will be coming soon to VRV — “Mike Tyson’s Mysteries” and “JabberJaw” from Warner Bros. “Mike Tyson’s Mysteries” follows Mike Tyson, the ghost of the Marquess of Queensberry, Tyson’s adopted daughter, and a pigeon as they solve mysteries. “JabberJaw” features a 15-foot tall talking, air breathing, anthropomorphic great white shark (voiced by Frank Welker, imitating Curly Howard of the Three Stooges) who plays the drums in a rock band called The Neptunes. Both shows will be live on VRV in early 2019.

Mob Psycho 100, in conjunction with Warner Bros. Japan

In partnership with Adult Swim, Crunchyroll’s “Mob Psycho 100” is airing every Saturday on Toonami, ring more fans…as The Wrap reported in advance of launch two weeks ago. We’re excited to bring this incredible series about Kageyama Shigeo, a.k.a. “Mob,” a boy who has trouble expressing himself, but who happens to be a powerful esper, to both current and new fans alike.

It’s been an exciting year thus far — we have much more to come and will share more soon!
