As CEO of Ellation, I’m fortunate to work with an incredibly collaborative team with one goal in mind: creating experiences for passionate communities to connect through the content they love. While our two brands, Crunchyroll and VRV, offer different experiences for their respective communities, it’s this shared camaraderie and passion that drives us to keep finding ways to better engage. We live in this cross-section of content and technology and have grown leaps and bounds since our humble beginnings in 2008, but we are only here because a free and open internet has allowed us to thrive in this constantly-evolving industry. I’m thankful that we have a team committed to super-serving our community, and I’m confident that consumers will win as we keep moving forward.

The wide range of companies involved in today’s “Day of Action” is a clear indicator that many industries are evolving and converging on the ensurance of a free flow of ideas and commerce via an open Internet. Consumers today have many choices — and collectively in an industry — we need to continue to work together to solve for both opportunities and challenges. We can only do this effectively with an equal playing field, and as a company, we are in strong support of protecting net neutrality.

Our community is our heartbeat, and we we will continue to push the boundaries to better serve each and every fan. I encourage everyone to make their voices heard by submitting comments to the FCC here. Please share this across your networks, and here’s a helpful article as you’re drafting up thoughts.
