Has your heart been broken again?

They say tears cleanse the soul, or do they?

What about that Rumi quote about, “the wound is where the light enters you?”

But what if it isn’t light at all, but a wave of darkness that grips you, chokes you until you’re about to breathe you last, and you decide, that’s it.

No more light and love and all that other bullshit. A heart cannot bear any more scar tissue, it’s time for something new.

Summon all of your strength, it’s time to shed your skin.
