“Zomb-ie-ey, ay-ey, ay-ey, aooowwwww,” Fallon heard the Cranberries’ song, “Zombie” in her head over and over when she came to.
It felt like she had been in another dimension – just like the celestial theme of the disco that night. Fallon was on the floor and Ray was kneeling beside her. His soft, concerned expression put a wrench in her plans to be the seductive above it all ex.
Fallon’s eyes fell on “the new her” – Ray’s new girlfriend. She looked kind, but Fallon could see she was checking her out as well. And there was something about her that made Fallon think of the Cranberries’ song, “Zombie” that was now in her head.
There was something about her that made Fallon think of zombies. When Fallon had passed out was she in a dream or was she in another dimension? Where there was complete debauchery around the disco and this new her was bent over her, chanting and rubbing herbs and oil on her temples.
