I couldn’t wait any longer

I watched the scenery become more and more familiar. I was nearly home. I could have stayed another night and travelled the next morning, but it had been a long business trip and I just needed to get back.

You opened the door for me while the driver pulled my case from the boot
“They sent the limousine, it must have gone well”
I nodded, butterflies swarming the moment you took my hand.

You gave me an understanding smile, then pressed your lips to the choker around my neck
“Welcome home little one, let's get you out of these things.”
