May your day be awesome. #HelpSupportMediumAuthor

Read the previous installment here:

“Who’s Hecate?” Attis asks.

“You know,” Erotia says, “For someone who’s been around the gods for thousands of years, you don’t know much.”

“Hey! Don’t get me wrong, you are awesome at sex, Erotia. But have you ever fucked a primordial goddess like Cybele? Kinda all I’ve been doing.”

“She’s right,” Maphi says. “How do you think I found Attis? By fucking Cy — ”

“Enough small talk!” says three bodies in unison. Hecate approaches Erotia, her three beings coordinating in a creepy psychedelic way. “It’s time to choose.”

Maphi says, “Hecate thinks she needs to intervene whenever someone makes an important decision — ”

“Do you choose the path of forgetfulness…” asks the dark-haired one holding a snake symbolizing fear of the unknown. “…and go back whence you came.”

“ — like a gender change. It’s a common motif in stories. An example mortals — ”

“Or do you choose the well-lit path…” says the blonde one, holding two torches, symbolizing light on a path. “…and have an easy life.”

“ — used recently is choosing between a blue and a red pill. Really, it’s unnecessary — ”

“The third option is the unknown path, not as well-lit and may have perils along the way, but may be filled with newfound understanding of yourself.” This third body is usually a redhead (symbolizing possible danger) holding a torch in one hand (symbolizing dimness) and a key (symbolizing an epiphany) in the other. But now, her body was completely red and held a bow and curved arrow.

“ — Usually, she appears right after the decision. This time she was late.”

“Oh, I was on time,” the three say. “But I wasn’t going to interrupt a hot sex scene.”

“Hecate,” Erotia says. “You know me too well. Of course I’m going to choose the strange red one.”

My Muse is continuing to whisper to me parts of this story. A very big thanks to Sunny and Skylar for the Hundo prompts and Crush Publications.
