HUNDO | 100 WORD CHALLENGE | JOY
Happiness
What does it mean to you?
The dictionary says that “joy” is a feeling of great pleasure and happiness.
But what is happiness?
“Different things to different people,” or so the song goes [1].
To me, what I find that gives me joy is:
Waking up. Sunrises. Sunsets.
Old friends. New friends.
Family (?)
Music. (On vinyl, of course)
Puppies. Young dogs. Old dogs.
Kittens. Cats (some).
Making things for people.
Working with friends on Twitter (X) and Medium.
Helping people do things.
Listening to what people have to say.
Sex (well, “I’ll know I used to like to do it, but I won’t remember why.” [2])
Walking in the woods.
“These are a few of my favorite things.” [3]
