She wasn't one to listen to gossip, but she couldn't help overhearing two of her colleagues discussing the hot new guy in HR as they drank coffee at the table behind her in the canteen.
"So, Tom from sales says he asked him outright and he's adament it was his cat ... she's called Kitty"
"Pfft, that's original, and they're not cat scratches, they're too big."
"Right? Well, whoever 'Kitty' is, she's a lucky girl, I mean have you seen him!?"
She pulled out her phone, admiring her chipped nail polish as she typed …
